Ox-eye daisy is a native wildflower and is a typical grassland perennial wildflower, which grows in meadows, fields, roadsides and often where soils are heavy and damp.

This pretty little perennial flower might remind you of Shasta daisies and in the language of Flowers, oxeye daisy is said to symbolise patience!

The flower head is a typical daisy shape, with white petals and yellow central florets and is a bushy, generally upright plant.

This species can grow from 20 - 70cm in height.

Ox-eye daisy is a reliable species when creating a wildflower meadow, and can be one of the first true perennials to flower, sometimes during the year of sowing.
