About the Authors
Meriel Thurstan discovered botanical illustration while working at the Lost Gardens of Heligan and later became a key member of the Friends team at the Eden Project. A multiple RHS medal winner and founder of the South West Society of Botanical Artists, her work hangs in collections across England, France and Australia.
Rosie Martin, a Gold Medal recipient from the RHS and member of the Society of Botanical Artists, has worked in fashion, theatre and design, creating textiles and prints for renowned names including David Bowie and Karl Lagerfeld. She now teaches botanical illustration and art-based workshops.
