Ann Lindsay was raised in rural Scotland before working in haute couture in Paris and London, including with Royal Couturier Hardy Amies. Her lifelong passion for flowers led her from fashion to writing, researching historic plant hunters and developing techniques for growing and drying plants for everlasting displays.
