Summer Snowflake Leucojum aestivum
Commonly known as the Loddon lily, the Summer Snowflake is a perennial spring bulb that brings delicate beauty to your Irish garden. Blooming from mid-spring, its white, nodding, bell-shaped flowers hang from upright stems and emit a subtle chocolate scent.
Ideal for woodland settings, damp meadows, containers, rock gardens, and garden flower beds and borders, Summer Snowflakes naturalise well, multiplying over time to create stunning drifts. They are resistant to deer and rabbits and thrive in boggy ground, making them versatile and resilient.
Plant your Summer Snowflake bulbs around 10-15 cm deep in large groups of at least 20 for a striking display. These high-quality bulbs, grown in Ireland, ensure robust growth and vibrant blooms.
