The Irish native bare root tree species included in this Mix will produce blooming flowers from spring and berries in autumn, bringing a beautiful element of colour and nature to your garden.

This mixture has been specially selected to bring an abundance of flowers, fruit and nuts to your garden.

Planting these Irish native bare root tree species in a row will form a hedge, creating a boundary and privacy around your garden, as well as offering a safe shelter for much of our wildlife.

The native hedge species included in this pack will contribute to bee corridors in Ireland and create corridors, or ‘highways’ for wildlife to move from one habitat to another safely. As many birds and small mammals rarely venture more than a few meters from a shelter, hedgerows prevent them from becoming isolated and vulnerable.

This Pollinator and Bird-friendly Hedgerow mix allows you to help preserve many of our most vulnerable wildlife species while bringing an element of interest and charm to your garden.

Storage

If you are not ready to plant within six days of receiving the plants, heel them in; i.e. cover the roots with damp sand or soil to keep them cool, damp and in good health until you are ready to plant.
