Description:
Wild daffodils (Narcissus pseudonarcissus) are a hardy perennial that naturalises easily in Ireland. They flourish in conditions similar to their native woodland habitat, especially where there’s good drainage and plenty of light. They’re generally shorter and more delicate-looking than many cultivated daffodil varieties, which adds to their charm in naturalised plantings. For best results, choose a spot that enjoys at least six hours of sunshine a day and make sure the soil drains well. Plant the bulbs at a depth roughly twice the height of the bulb – usually about 8–10cm deep.

Plant in Autumn from September until November
