Irish Native Bluebell Bulbs 'Hysacinthoides Non-Scripta' - produced in Co Waterford Ireland.

Plant in Autumn between August and November. Expect these Irish provenance Bluebell bulbs to bloom in early Spring between February and April, producing a beautiful purple/blue flower.

Hyacinthoides Non-Scripta is the Latin name for Irish provenance Bluebells, they are a non-invasive Bluebell species, traditionally found in woodland and hedgerows of the Irish countryside.

Bluebell Planting Tips:

Plant bluebell bulbs en mass (close together) in Autumn to create a carpet of colour come Spring. Bluebells prefer shade or semi-shade that receives morning or evening sun.

Use a Dibber for planting bulbs.

Bulbs should be planted in holes about 3 times their size in depth, and approx 8 to 10 cm apart.

To increase vigour and flowering, divide clumps every 3 to 4 years.

Suitable for planting in woodland, under hedging, in lawns, and around large deciduous trees such as Oak, Ash, and Beech trees that tend to cast a shade.

We recommend planting a variety of different bulb species such as Crocus, Daffodils, Allium, Snow Drop, etc for a varied display of colour and interest.

Lovely native bluebells. I will be planting these under a small Hazelnut grove of 75 bushes that I'm growing in a corner of my garden

I have some wild bluebells in the hedgerow beside my house, so I bought these to boost the wild population. Good size bulbs, look healthy. Great to get these for an Irish business!
